About Roz

I have two daughters and five grandchildren. I am semi-retired and have dabbled in all sorts of art projects over the years and am currently taking classes in silk painting; it’s a beautiful medium to paint on. Some years ago I took some workshops and summer schools in miniature painting and Chinese Brush Painting, which I loved, but having a proper job getting in the way I didn’t have much time to pursue these and have to confess I’m a bit rusty in those disciplines. Over the last couple of years I’ve taken several oil painting workshops and just loved it. I was encouraged to train as an instructor and earlier this year I qualified as a Certified Ross Instructor for Florals and Seascapes and March 2015 will take the first level in landscapes and by October I will have qualified in Landscapes. In the meantime I’m working towards getting my own workshops off the ground. Sounds like I’m a bit of a workshopaholic, but it’s the best way to try out new skills.
